New Mega Evolution Pokémon ex Revealed for Aura Seeker
The standout cards revealed alongside the new set announcement are Mega Absol Z ex and Mega Garchomp Z ex.
Together with Mega Lucario Z ex, they introduce different strategies and give the expansion a clear Mega Evolution focus.
Mega Absol Z ex and Mega Garchomp Z ex
Two of the biggest new card reveals
Mega Absol Z ex 030/078 | Psychic | 270 HP
Mega Absol Z ex
Mega Absol Z ex is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon with 270 HP.
Its attack, Bloody Fear, deals 160 damage and prevents the opponent from attaching Special Energy from their hand or playing Stadium cards during their following turn.
This creates an interesting combination of damage and disruption, potentially interfering with strategies that rely on Special Energy or Stadium cards.
Mega Garchomp Z ex
Mega Garchomp Z ex is a Dragon-type Stage 2 Pokémon with an impressive 360 HP.
Its Dragon Avenger attack deals 30 damage for each Dragon-type Pokémon in your discard pile.
Its second attack, Sonic Edge, deals 240 damage and is unaffected by effects on the opponent's Active Pokémon.
This makes Mega Garchomp Z ex a particularly interesting card to watch as more support cards and possible deck combinations are revealed.
Mega Evolution ex rule: When a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards.
New Lightning Pokémon Cards Revealed
The Aura Seeker reveal includes Oricorio and the full Pawmi evolution line, featuring Pawmi, Pawmo and Pawmot.

Pawmot is particularly interesting thanks to its Double Strike Ability, which allows it to use an attack twice in succession.
Its Mach Bolt attack deals 100 damage, creating the potential for two consecutive attacks during the same turn.
Oricorio introduces a more unusual effect through Welcoming Dance, which interacts with Basic Pokémon in the opponent's hand.
Dragon and Fighting Pokémon Revealed in Aura Seeker
Several Dragon and Fighting-type cards have also been revealed, including the Trapinch and Gible evolution lines.
These cards help support Mega Garchomp Z ex and introduce new possibilities for Dragon-focused strategies.

Vibrava has an Ability that allows it to be discarded from the hand to look at the top card of the deck. This could complement Mega Garchomp Z ex by adding Dragon-type Pokémon to the discard pile.
Flygon introduces an attack that can return Energy attached to an opposing Active Pokémon to the opponent's deck.
Meanwhile, Drampa can accelerate Basic Energy onto a Dragon-type Pokémon through Powerful Breath.
More Aura Seeker Cards: Meloetta, Mawile and Revavroom
Beyond the headline Mega Evolution cards, Aura Seeker includes several other Pokémon with potentially useful attacks and effects.

Meloetta has a particularly useful attack called Welcoming Song, allowing players to search for up to three Basic Pokémon and place them directly onto their Bench.
Revavroom offers another interesting option with Long Drive, dealing 100 damage to the Active Pokémon and another 100 damage to an opposing Benched Pokémon, before discarding its Energy.
Meanwhile, Mawile's Big Jaw attack deals damage based on the number of cards in the opponent's hand.
New Trainer Cards Revealed for Aura Seeker
Two new Trainer cards were also revealed: Korrina's Determination and Fight Arena.

Korrina's Determination
This Supporter increases the damage dealt by your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex during the turn.
The damage bonus increases by 20 for each Prize card the opponent has already taken.
This could make the card especially interesting in situations where a player is behind on Prize cards.
Fight Arena
Fight Arena is a Stadium card that allows players to heal 20 damage from each of their Pokémon, excluding Pokémon with a Rule Box.
Its effect could support certain non-Rule Box Pokémon strategies, particularly those that benefit from repeated healing.
Previously Revealed Aura Seeker Cards
Before Aura Seeker's full announcement, three cards had already been previewed during the 2026 Pokémon World Championships.
These were Riolu, Mega Lucario Z ex and Sigilyph ex.
Their English preview images also gave collectors an early indication of the upcoming English-language expansion.

Why Mega Lucario Z ex Is the Headline Card
Mega Lucario Z ex is a Metal-type Mega Evolution Pokémon ex with 330 HP.
Its Aura Seeker Ability can search the deck for a Supporter card while Mega Lucario Z ex is in the Active Spot.
Its Dancing Fist attack deals 120 damage, with an additional 120 damage against a Pokémon ex.
The ability to search for a Supporter card, combined with an attack designed to deal extra damage against Pokémon ex, makes Mega Lucario Z ex one of the most interesting early reveals from the set.
Sigilyph ex also has a potentially important defensive role thanks to its Mega Protection Ability, which prevents damage from attacks by opposing Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
Will Aura Seeker Cards Release in English?
Yes, cards from the Japanese Aura Seeker set are expected to feature in the English Pokémon TCG expansion Flowing Fists.
According to early reporting, Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution: Flowing Fists is scheduled for 5 February 2027.
This would make Flowing Fists one of the first major English Pokémon TCG releases of 2027.
The English expansion is expected to feature Mega Lucario Z ex and draw heavily from the Japanese Aura Seeker card list.
However, English sets can feature different numbering, card selection and secret rare distributions. The Japanese card list should therefore not be treated as a final English checklist.
English release note: The Flowing Fists name and 5 February 2027 release date have been reported by PokeBeach. Check official English Pokémon TCG announcements for final confirmation.
What Should Pokémon TCG Collectors Watch Next?
With Aura Seeker officially revealed, attention now turns to the remaining cards and secret rares.
There are several key details worth following before the Japanese release in November.
- Special Illustration Rares: Whether Mega Lucario Z ex, Mega Absol Z ex or Mega Garchomp Z ex receive additional illustrated versions.
- Secret Rare checklist: The full list of cards numbered beyond the 78-card main set.
- New Z Mega Evolutions: Whether additional Z forms appear in the expansion.
- Trainer support: New cards that could interact with the featured Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
- English Flowing Fists: Official release details, product formats and confirmation of the English card list.
The current reveals provide an exciting early look, but it is still too soon to determine which cards will become the most sought-after chase cards.
