Munikis Zero Set Releasing Soon, Featuring Mega Zygarde!

Japan’s next mainline set has a name: Munikis Zero (ムニキスゼロ). Japanese distributor listings and a newly filed trademark point to a 23 January (JP) release with Mega Zygarde ex headlining. The trademark appeared unusually close to launch, roughly three months out.

The title likely references 無に帰する (munikisuru), meaning “to return to nothing”, which fits Mega Zygarde’s move often rendered as “Nihil Light” or “Light That Returns to Nothing.”

For context, Japan’s release slate currently shows:

• 28 November: MEGA Dream ex (annual High Class Pack featuring Mega Dragonite ex)

• 19 December: Start Deck 100 Battle Collection

• 23 January: Munikis Zero (M3) alongside a boxed product: Mega Gallade ex Special Set

Future items teased include Ninja Spinner (potentially Mega Greninja ex) and Storm Emeralda (speculated Mega Rayquaza).
